Tanzania is currently developing a health financing strategy to provide a medium and long-term road map for a sustainable integrated health financing system. The purpose of this book is to provide information for discussion by providing an analytical basis for discussing options and providing an analytical basis for the promotion of a range of policy options that may be considered and the economic and financial impact of these alternatives. It looks at regulatory and political environments and puts forward specific recommendations that can be considered in each area. The focus of these recommendations is especially on improving the financial health protection of the poor. Then examine the impact of economic, financial, and service delivery, and use several different options to extend pre-paid health insurance coverage to the crowd. Readers in the health care and public health, social protection, social analysis and policy areas in Tanzania and other countries that are working to improve the health financing system will be interested in health financing for the poor in Tanzania.
