Be Ye Transformed
Elizabeth Sand Turner was born on July 5, 1897, in Nashville, Tennessee. She became interested in Unity when her mother, Elizabeth Pierce Sand, visited Unity School in Kansas City in 1910 and received healing.
In the fall of 1932 Elizabeth enrolled in the Unity correspondence School and became the spiritual leader of the Nashville center in 1933. In 1934 she was licensed a Unity teacher and then ordained as a minister in July 1936.
Elizabeth served as minister at the Unity Center of Christianity in Nashville until 1945. She is best known for her trilogy of books, which metaphysically interprets the Bible: Let There be Light (1954), Your Hope of Glory (1959), and Be Ye Transformed (1969).
