LA's 1Minute Monologue WRITERS Contest!   NOW TAKING SUBMISSIONS FOR 2016! Hey, you can write... right?! You can pull together a 60 second monologue... right? You can outwrite the other writers... right? So, give it a go and see how you do! Head over to the Writer's Page for submissions instructions. Need some reasons? You have a reasonable time frame to finish another work. You get to challange yourself pulling together a full story in a paragraph. You get to help out our actors by offering them a great 1Minute piece. You get to see your piece performed... that is if it's chosen. It may even get to be produced like a scene from an actual film. You get to add this contest to your wonderfully growing resume. You've got something really cool to talk about this at Thanksgiving dinner. You get bragging rights if you win! What else do you need?! Write a 1Minute Monologue for actors to choose from who are performing in LA's 1Minute Monologue Contest. Man, Woman, Young, Old, Comedic, Dramatic... it's your choice. Your monologue will then be placed on our exclusive writers page on the 1Minute Monologue website making it available to our registered performers for download and preparation. Next, our professional 1Minute Writer's Team will judge your piece against the other submitted pieces. If your monologue is selected by any of our registered performers, you'll be able to see how it's interpreted live... and see how you place among the other entrants in the competition. We'll also take into consideration how many hits (looks) it receives. The result will be, three runners-up including the winner. More 411 is on the way so keep checking back.
