YFN NY Summer Camp
Youth for the Nations Summer Camp is coming from Dallas, TX to partner with Takeover Student Ministries in Rockland County, New York. For over 25 years, YFN has challenged over 100,000 young people to live surrendered lives and give themselves to transforming nations & generations. Through creative nation games we link arms with anointed artists, speakers, & bands to AWAKEN, TRAIN, & RESOURCE. From the nations games to the night services to the training sessions, everything has one focus – to advance the Gospel of Christ with the power of the Holy Spirit. We love you, more! FAQ Q: I am a student of Takeover Student Ministries…is my transportation provided? A: Yes. All details for your departure are on your release form that must be signed by parents/guardians. Takeover Students can get a copy of the release form from Gracepoint Gospel, Takeover or on the eventbrite site. Q: Can I be apart of YFN if I am over 18, not a youth leader or youth pastor? A: Unfortunately, no. Even though we love people to help out with YFN, we limit the involvement to YFN interns, campers, youth pastors and youth leaders. Q: When can I arrive and depart from YFN NY? A: YFN NY registration begins at 12:00 pm. on the opening day of camp July 25th, and will last until 2 p.m. The departure time is 11:00 a.m. on the concluding day of your scheduled camp. Q: What kind of food is served at camp? A: You can expect a variety of options, such as hamburgers, lasagna, hot dogs and various sides to go with each. Q: Is transportation provided if I fly into New York? A: We are unable to provide transportation from the airport, or to Delta Lake Retreat Center. You are responsible for the round trip transportation to Rome, NY. *This excludes all students that are a part of Takeover Student Ministries. Your transportation is included. Q: What activities are available? A: Nation games are played in the afternoon, which include: relay races, pool games, and many other exciting activities. Boating, tubing () and canoes are great water activities that students can participate in. Swimming in Delta Lake. We have an in-door gym that will be available in the afternoons for basketball and volleyball. Q: What are the rules during camp? A: Because we are a Christian summer camp, we have standards set to allow our attendees to experience God in a powerful way without being distracted and to ensure their safety. Please see the "YFN Rules". Q: Where do I go to register once I get there? For registration and cost for children please email youthadmin@gracepointgospel.org Q: Should I bring spending money? A: Yes. There will be great merchandise from YFN and Takeover Student Ministries. As well as a snack shop! If you want to participate in tubing it is a extra cost of . Q: If I am bringing a group, can I make payments? A: Unfortunatly, no.
